Digital SLR Camera Flash Units

DSLR Flash Units
There are few things that can ruin a picture as much as a misuse of a flash. The mood of the picture may be completely lost when flash replaces the natural light. But the effect can be influenced and exploited right maybe the flash can be a really good friend?Built-in flash
Most cameras have some form of built-in flash that usually goes off when the light is bad and you are using some form of full or semi-automatic camera programs. The problem with built-in flash units tend to be mainly:
1) The maximum power is too low to light up a larger room or group photo.
2) The flash light is so close to the lens that red eye easily arises (it has to do with the angle of the flash light when it bounces off the red cornea and back into the camera again).
3) The direction of the flash light can not be affected — it only sends light straight ahead, which gives a bad light with dull shadows.
All these problems are resolved in whole or in part, by acquiring a movable flash unit to your camera.
